Programs at Whiteland Montessori
Designed with your child’s development in mind
Our goal in designing the kindergarten and preschool programs at Whiteland Montessori School is to develop in the child the ability to use the skills he or she has without having to follow a pattern or method prescribed by others. Although we have structure during our school day, we also have flexibility. For children, Montessori education is a way of learning and not something to be learned.
At Whiteland Montessori, the school day is organized to accommodate both our preschool program and our kindergarten program. Children have the freedom to move from activity to activity at their own pace within our daily structure, and to interact at the level in which they find both challenges and satisfaction, without the rigid structure of age-designated learning.
